Prior to moving to Denver, Alana was a publicist in New York City with DoubledayBroadway Books, a division of Random House, Inc., where she promoted travel, sports, cookbook and celebrity authors including Frances Mayes (Under the Tuscan Sun), Simon Cowell and Lance Armstrong, to name a few. Alana is very active in the local Denver community; in 2012, she will chair the Women’s Foundation of Colorado’s Empowerment Council and Council’s Fundraising Committee.
She also volunteers with the Colorado Chapter of the Make-a-Wish Foundation and is a Certified Yoga Instructor, teaching at Denver’s Yoga on 6th studio. In 2010 and 2011, Alana was nominated as an Outstanding Woman in Business by the Denver Business Journal.
